Creative Nonfiction Foundation is accepting applications for a design intern. This is an opportunity to gain real-world experience while learning how to balance aesthetics with functionality. Tasks include assisting the Director of Marketing & Publicity in designing graphics for print + digital formats and presentations to be used in our day-to-day operations, special events, and annual writers’ conference. Additionally, there will be layout work for True Story magazine. 

This position is well suited for graduate students, the recently graduated, freelance illustrators, graphic designers—really anyone seeking to gain design experience while working for a magazine with a national reputation.

Requires a weekly 15-25 hours commitment for nine months. Creative Nonfiction welcomes all qualified applicants, regardless of gender, race, age, sexuality, or disability.
